Ardmore is located on the Alabama-Tennessee state line. Residents enjoy a feeling of security which cannot be found in larger towns. The people of Ardmore enjoy the opportunities and pleasures provided by healthy lifestyles and southern living. Our small town values, combined with easy access to metropolitan areas provide us with a much envied quality of life. This area with all its history, charm, beautiful scenery and friendly atmosphere, is something to appreciate and we love sharing it with visitors.
  • April 19-20, 2008 - 6th Annual Renaissance Faire, 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Ardmore, AL Town Park, Main Street, Ardmore, AL. Wonderful, fun, historical faire.

  • Walk through our gates and enter a world of music, history, excitement and laughter. Shop the marketplace, indulge in delectable edibles, test your skills in our gaming glen and make the day your own. Cheer on dashing knights engaged in games which include: archery, hand-to-hand combat, fencing, and others. Vendors will offer wares associated with the time period selling everything from period clothing and sword, to candles and incense, to jewelry and masks, to stuffed creatures and fairy wands.     May 6, 2008 - Annual Banquet


    July 25, 2008 - Miss Crape Myrtle Festival Beauty Pageants. Everyone welcome to enter. Entry fee $25.00; $5.00 per photo for Most Photogenic competition.


    August 30, 2008- 16th Annual Crape Myrtle Festival - Last Saturday in August each year. A street festival with all day entertainment. Venders from all over featuring homemade crafts, great food and an area of children's activities. Fun for the entire family.


    November 11 - Veterans Day Parade and Program honoring all local veterans - 1:30 PM. Special music provided by Ardmore High School Marching Band.


    December 6, 2008- Annual Christmas Parade - 3:00 PM - Route: Main Street South, turn right onto Ardmore Avenue and disband at Ardmore High School
